D8.2 Version 1.0 of the PEPPOL Infrastructure
The aim of this deliverable is to support the implementation of the PEPPOL eProcurement pilots by describing the building blocks needed for implementing Pan European eDelivery BusDox (Business Document Exchange) in the PEPPOL Transport Infrastructure. These descriptions are applicable to both Contracting Authorities and their Suppliers (Economic Operators) and their technology and/or service providers.
D7.4b Business Case Scenarios
The aim of the document is to describe business case scenarios for the stakeholders of the outcome of the PEPPOL project, and the benefits of Business Cases as key component of the “marketing kit” (see below). We need to rely on sound and concrete examples showing benefits to join the PEPPOL community. We will focus to specific actions with the HOBs to collect description of more Business cases that witness the successful use of PEPPOL.

The aim of this deliverable is to support the implementation of the PEPPOL eProcurement pilots by describing the components needed and building block provided for implementing eSignature validation into the PEPPOL Infrastructure. These descriptions are applicable to both Contracting Authorities and their Suppliers (Economic Operators) and their technology and/or service providers. Implementation of these specifications, in conjunction with the PEPPOL Transport Infrastructure (Deliverables 8.2), addresses the PEPPOL Infrastucture on Technical interoperability layers of the European Interoperability Framework (EIF) version 2.0.

D2.2 Specification of architecture and components enabling cross-border VCD
The aim of this deliverable is to support the implementation of the PEPPOL Virtual Company Dossier pilots by specifying the building blocks needed. These specifications are applicable to both Contracting Authorities and Economic Operators and their technology and/or service providers.
Reference Implementation Tool
The Reference Implementation is a tool created to support Public Administrations and Economic Operators in designing and managing eCatalogues. Main features of the Reference Implementation, applicable both to pre-award and post-award phase of the public procurement procedures, are related to the standardization of procedures, formats and contents to simplify Catalogues exchange between Businesses and Administrations. For the post award part, the tool is fully compliant with the European Committee for Standardization (CEN/BII) “Catalogue Only” profile, while in the pre-award part it complies to a PEPPOL-defined profile which represents the basis for the standardization work brought forward by the CEN/BII 2 Workshop. We underline that this is a draft version that represent a Work-in-Progress of the tool development.
Version 1.0 of BusDox specifications published
Version 1.0 of the BusDox specifications (aka the PEPPOL specifications) have now been released after a public review period.
eOrdering: Standard Basic eOrdering Format and Data Structure
The PEPPOL deliverable D4.1 “Standard Basic eOrdering Format and Data Structure” is a key deliverable in a series of deliverables consisting of 5 parts and is in close connection with work done by CEN/ISSS WS/BII.
eInvoicing: Pilot Specifications
The document provides an overview of WP5 e-Invoicing deliverables and dependencies with a special focus on existing European invoicing and procurement initiatives. A short summary on the as-is situation on electronic invoicing in the European countries participating in PEPPOL WP5 is also provided. This document also outlines the cooperation with other PEPPOL work packages and external groups that heavily influence the invoicing solution.
Test, Evaluation and Pilot Execution Guidelines
These documents comprise methodologies for testing conformance to CEN ISSS WS/BII profiles, evaluation of pilots based on CEN ISSS WS/BII profiles and execution guidelines for planning the pilots. This Report is developed in cooperation between PEPPOL and CEN ISSS WS/BII WG 4, and is aligned with the draft report CEN ISSS WS/BII WG 4 Test Guidelines version 0.9 .
eCatalogue: Functional, Technical, legal and organisational specifications
According to the Description of work of PEPPOL, the overall aim of work package 3 (eCatalogues) is “to provide interoperable solutions for economic operators in any European country to utilise eCatalogue information already registered in their systems and to submit this information electronically to any public sector awarding entity from a different Member State when these economic operators decide to apply for public tenders in which the description of the items to be purchased is requested in the form of eCatalogues.
eSignature: Requirements for Use of Signatures in Public Procurement Processes
Version 1.2 of the PEPPOL deliverable 'Requirements for Use of Signatures in Public Procurement Processes' has been released. Feedback on scope, content and approach from eSignature specialists, middleware suppliers and platform providers is very welcome. Please feel free to comment.
Virtual Company Dossier: Functional and non-functional requirements specification
The PEPPOL deliverable D2.1 'Functional and non-functional requirements specification for the VCD, including critical synthesis, comparison and assessment of national vs. pan-European needs ' describes the overall concept of the Virtual Company Dossier and requirements at different levels. It also reports the results of existing studies and solutions on Virtual Company Dossiers investigated. It also analyses the legal frameworks at European and national levels framing the VCD specification.
