PEPPOL EIA
Step 1: Choose one of the 6 dimensions of the EIA described below by clicking on the appropriate grey bar at the side of the cube:

ICT Architecture – providing the ICT scope, solutions and ICT architecture for the interoperability community

Conformance and Test – comprising the requirements, processes and tools of conformance for the different interoperability stakeholders

Life Cycle Management (LCM) – processes for LCM of business and ICT architectures

Governance - comprising the governance structure, legal framework and processes for the business and ICT architectures

Marketing – including processes and material for increasing awareness and recruiting new participants for PEPPOL pilot projects

Business – being the business scope and business architecture of the interoperability community
Step 2: Identify one of the 4 interoperability community columns, reflecting the PEPPOL component of interest:

eSignature Validation Infrastructure – validation of eSignature certificates across EU borders.

Transport Infrastructure – pan-European eDelivery of business documents
-
Post-Award eProcurement – eCatalogues, eOrders, and eInvoices
-
Pre-Award eProcurement – eAttestations (VCD) and eCatalogues used in the tendering process.
Step 3: Identify one of the 5 abstraction level rows according to the type of information you require:

Strategy

Framework
-
Models (guidelines and specifications of the different services and components)

Services and Components
-
Designs
-
Implementations
Step 4: Click on the blue cell associated with the combination of your chosen ‘Communities’ column and your chosen ‘Abstraction’ row to obtain the content required.
Links to the information you have chosen will be displayed immediately below the cube.
For example: If you are looking for the PEPPOL BIS specifications for eInvoicing, you would click first on the grey ICT Architecture ‘Dimension’ bar on the right hand side of the EIA cube (the chosen grey bar will be highlighted in black) and then click on the blue cell in the Post Award eProcurement ‘Communities’ column along the ‘Models’ row. The blue cell you have chosen will now be highlighted and the links to the invoice specification document will be visible as you scroll down the page below the cube.
