SendRegning makes Plug and Play PEPPOL Access Point available Open Source
The Norwegian community has reached another milestone in enhancing PEPPOL technology developments. SendRegning has taken the sample code of a PEPPOL Access Point and modified it to make it easier for anyone to use.

The PEPPOL project teams from Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark recently organized a seminar for the financial sector in the Nordic area. The seminar was held in Stockholm on the 10th of April, 2012. It was well-attended and the participants had the opportunity to listen to representatives from all the Nordic countries.
Crowds of visitors flocked to PEPPOL booth at BBG exhibition
On 29th March, 2012, PEPPOL presented its solutions for eProcurement at the 5th exhibition of the Austrian Federal Procurement Agency “Nutzen.Leben 2012” in Vienna. The largest fair for public purchase in Austria is organised by the Austrian agency for public procurement, the Bundesbeschaffung GmbH (BBG), once a year. The event primarily addresses representatives of public authorities.
PEPPOL at the CeBIT 2012
More than 4,200 enterprises from some 70 countries exhibited at the CeBIT 2012 in Hannover from 6th to 10th March 2012. Together with all Large Scale Pilots, PEPPOL presented its solutions for interoperable eProcurement across European borders and showcased its latest success stories at the world’s largest fairy for communication technology.

OpenPEPPOL to guarantee high level governance and long-term sustainability of the PEPPOL infrastructure
As part of a long term sustainability roadmap, the PEPPOL Governing Board recently agreed on establishing OpenPEPPOL as a non-profit international association. The OpenPEPPOL association is expected to ensure high level governance and continuation of the agreement infrastructure and promote wider use of PEPPOL based eProcurement solutions in Europe. The OpenPEPPOL association is drawn up as the user driven path towards PEPPOL sustainability, and are being supplemented by an EU supported path and a standardisation focused path.
Development of PEPPOL Access Points Gains Momentum
As the number of PEPPOL (Pan-European Public Procurement Online) pilots increases, the development of Access Points (APs) to connect to the PEPPOL infrastructure is gaining momentum. The easy availability of Access Points and related services is a critical step that simplifies and accelerates adoption of PEPPOL’s electronic procurement solutions across Europe.
PEPPOL Standards available for Italian eProcurement
Consip and MEF, the Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance, have integrated PEPPOL eCatalogue and eOrdering components in their eProcurement platform “Acquistinrete”, accessible by some 25.000 Italian Contracting Authorities for their purchases of supplies and services.
