6th PEPPOL conference
PEPPOL arranged its 6th conference in Stockholm on the 26th and 27th of May 2011, focusing on the strategies behind PEPPOL and how to practically implement PEPPOL technologies. The conference gave insight to PEPPOL's current results and future plans, and gave first hand information of the ongoing pilots and involved practical cases and demonstrations.

Objectives of the conference
The conference had the following four objectives:
- Provide insight in the strategies behind PEPPOL technologies.
- Present PEPPOL results and future plans.
- To give first-hand information from the ongoing real life PEPPOL pilots.
- Testimonies from implementers of PEPPOL technologies: why did they choose PEPPOL and what were the challenges?
The conference also focused on how to practically implement PEPPOL technology and how to get started. This involved practical use cases, how to become an access point/registry and what is required by solution providers of tools for pre*- and post-award** business processes to implement PEPPOL. There was also an interoperability test track for those who already have tools available.
Conference organisers
The PEPPOL Conference was hosted by Ekonomistyrningsverket (ESV) in collaboration with Kammarkollegiet, SFTI and SKL.
