Description: Consortium consisting of the Austrian Federal Ministry of Finance (BMF), Austrian Federal Computing Centre (BRZ) and Austrian Federal Procurement Agency (BBG). The Federal Ministry of Finance (BMF) is a modern service provider adapting its services, also for other ministries and federal entities, to the needs and welfare of citizens and businesses. It has central responsibility for budget and budget execution. The Federal Computing Centre is a managerial lead company with an annual turnover of 200 million € in average and around 1000 permanent staff. The BRZ is 100% owned by the Austrian government, which is represented by the Ministry of Finance in Austria. The BRZ runs Austria´s largest computing centre for the public administration. The Federal Procurement Agency is the central purchasing body for the Federal Government of Austria which also provides procurement services for other public authorities such as administration of provinces and communities.
PEPPOL.AT plays a major role throughout the project. It has the lead for dissemination activities and had the lead originally for the eOrdering component in the first three years of the project. PEPPOL.AT has contributed to the specification and implementation tasks in these work packages and has setup pilots in Austria which use these specifications to make eProcurement Communities in Austria interoperable with PEPPOL.
Supported PEPPOL components are: PEPPOL Access Point, PEPPOL SMP, PEPPOL SML, EVS (European VCD System), Austrian NVS (National VCD System), Ontologie Management System, PEPPOL eCatalogues (BIS 1a), PEPPOL eOrdering (BIS 3a), PEPPOL eInvoicing (BIS 4a)
The following pilots have been setup: Austrian NVS, PEPPOL Access Point and SMP, PEPPOL SML, connectivity of ER>B to AP, pre-Award-Catalogue community, connectivity of eShop CA community to AP, and connectivity of eShop EO community to AP.
