Contact & Participate!
What are our targets?
The PEPPOL project wants to contact procurement communities, contracting authorities and suppliers for participating in building the PEPPOL community and increase usage based on the structural and usage targets set by the PEPPOL project:

Structural targets set objectives for enabling usage, i.e. the number of eTendering/eSourcing solutions utilising PEPPOL components or the number of procurement communities or eProcurement networks connected to the PEPPOL infrastructure. These targets refer to activities for “PEPPOL enabling” pre-award and post-award solutions.
Usage targets, on the other hand, set measures for the actual usage of the “PEPPOL enabled” solutions.
Distinguishing between structural and usage targets enables us to prioritize the two types of activities...
- Integrating/connecting procurement communities, thus establishing the “PEPPOL community” as the backbone for European electronic public procurement, and
- Establish actual usage of the PEPPOL community, including pilots crossing Member state borders.
The distinction between pre-award and post award activities is to recognize the difference in providing support for the two different business processes.
If you are responsible for the operations of one or more procurement communities or are interested in learning more about how to get connected please contact us!
The same applies for contracting authorities and suppliers already doing business across borders who want to learn more about how it can be done electronically through the PEPPOL community!
