Central Services Directorate General (CSDG)
Central Services Directorate General (CSDG) is a background agency of the Prime Ministers’ Office of the Hungarian Republic. Had been founded by the PMO and owned by state. The ownership is being represented by the minister of PMO. CSDG is in charge to manage and operate the “Centralised Public Procurement System” as central contracting agency to provide valid contract in pre-defined market segments in the name and for the benefits of entities under the control of central government. For the beneficial institutes the participation is mandatory but voluntary use of the system is also welcomed upon prior, confirmed registration. Centralised public procurement is being regulated at secondary legislation level in government decree dedicated to the issues of centralised public procurement. This government decree – together with the definition and detailed classification of product categories belonging to the pre-defined market segment – is being managed by CSDG.CSDG is being appointed to provide electronic public procurement services to the beneficial institutes within the scope of centralised public procurement system. To ease the job of suppliers and customers being connected within the system in performing the valid contracts CSDG is operating a web based contact management system that incorporates the support services of registration, e-catalogue for tendering and that of e-ordering.
